Education
A long-time Beverly Hills resident, Dr. Abdy Moshrefi attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry after earning his undergraduate degree at UCLA with Summa Cum Laude Honors.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Raanan studied an additional three years at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine to earn his specialty degree in Prosthodontics and a Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology: a significant achievement reserved for the leading authorities in the field.
Following Harvard, Dr. Raanan was recruited as part-time faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry — where he lectures
in the Section of rosthodontics, training the next generation of specialists. He subsequently pioneered NuVeneers®, a proprietary minimally invasive veneer technique exclusive to his Beverly Hills practice, and founded the Atelier Aesthetic
Lab, the only in-practice dental laboratory in Beverly Hills.

Dr. Abdy Moshrefi has been on the leading edge of that transformation from the beginnings of his career, using computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) design techniques as a resident at Harvard Dental School. Dr. Raanan has extensive experience in the latest innovations in Aesthetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction and Rehabilitation, TMJ Disorders, correction of bite problems, and multidisciplinary treatment coordination with highly skilled dental and medical specialists. His position as a leader and educator gives him access to help shape the future of Periodontic dentistry as new techniques and technologies enter the space.
Dr. Raanan is the pioneer of NuVeneers® — a proprietary ultra-thin veneer technique requiring little to no enamel removal, available exclusively at his Beverly Hills practice.
He is also the founder of the Atelier Aesthetic Lab, the only in-practice dental laboratory in Beverly Hills, where master ceramists hand-craft every restoration under his direct supervision using cutting-edge AD/CAM technology. Patients can watch their smile being created in real time through floor-to-ceiling glass walls and 4K HD monitors.

Dr. Raanan believes true leaders lead by doing. Through each patient he sees and each smile he creates, Dr. Raanan helps craft the standard for excellence in Periodontic dentistry through his holistic approach. His focus on the latest advancements in the field means he is constantly innovating and applying new best practices in his treatments. He also trains the next generation of industry-leading dentists as a part-time faculty member at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Raanan believes true leadership also means reshaping the world to be a better place. In addition to his work as a mentor, educator, and leading cosmetic dentist here in Los Angeles, Dr. Raanan devotes himself to helping those who are in need of critical oral care but lack the means to receive it. He donates his time and resources to the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles, improving dental health for those in the city experiencing homelessness. He also participates in international mission trips to countries like Guatemala and El Salvador to help improve smiles there. A better smile can be the first step to a better life, and Dr. Raanan leads by example in providing this gift to others.
