Drs. Abdy Moshrefi and Nazy Daneshmand are highly respected dental implant experts based in Beverly Hills, CA. And these happy dental implant patients’ before and after pictures show why!
Steph lost a premolar after the tooth fractured. The tooth had previously been root-canaled with a crown on top, but the root fractured during normal chewing. It was removed and grafted. After a three-month healing period, a ceramic implant was placed, followed by an all-ceramic restoration.

Valente was interested in ceramic implants for his missing upper lateral incisors. In rare instances, patients are congenitally missing these teeth, meaning they never develop due to genetic reasons. Due to the angulation of the neighboring teeth, Invisalign treatment had to be done to create enough space in the bone to place implants. After the teeth were moved into proper position and alignment, Ceraroot ceramic implants were placed and restored with all-ceramic crowns.
Bill had several missing teeth on his right side. Because of the time he went without teeth, some of the neighboring teeth moved, making the spaces smaller. Ceramic implants were placed, and temporaries were fabricated to prevent further tooth movement. Once the ceramic implants had integrated (fused with the bone), all-ceramic crowns were made to complete his care.

Karen was missing her upper right lateral incisor. As a result, some of her teeth shifted to that side, and she ended up with gaps between some of her front teeth. After moving Karen’s teeth into proper alignment and position, the gaps were closed, and a ceramic implant was placed and restored with a high esthetic layered zirconia crown that complemented her natural smile.
Barb broke her upper right premolar – the tooth just in front of her first molar – while chewing popcorn. The fractured tooth was removed, and a ceramic implant was placed at the same appointment… saving her months of treatment time. Once the implant had healed, an Emax (all-ceramic, highly esthetic) crown was placed on the implant to restore her bite and natural-looking smile.

This is a close-up of Will’s restored ceramic implant. Notice how healthy and pink the gum line is. There is no gray color showing through the pink gum tissue as there is in many titanium implant cases. The tissue is extremely healthy and natural-looking.
Joe had an extraction and a same-day dental implant on an upper-left bicuspid, which he broke on an olive pit.

Andre had significant bone loss after a past extraction. The site was grafted with hard and soft tissue, and ceramic implants were placed and restored. Three years post-op, soft and hard tissue contours are restored, and the implant is healthy, esthetic, and functioning. It was vital to restore the gum tissue around the implant to reduce food getting caught in the area and to avoid inflammation and bone loss.
Paul lost his tooth after a hockey accident. He waited three years before getting the broken tooth replaced, and by then, his teeth had shifted. We extracted what was left of the tooth and placed an implant the same day. The tooth was restored after three months with a zirconia, an all-ceramic crown.

Alicia had two lower right molars removed because of long-term gum disease and bone loss. Many times, sites planned for implant treatment are bone grafted, as in Alicia’s case, to better prepare the area to receive the implants. After several months of healing, she had the crowns attached to the implants. Using a screw channel through the top of the implant crown greatly facilitates long-term maintenance of the implants. The channel is filled with a composite, tooth-colored filling.
Carolyn was missing her upper left bicuspid. After taking a CT scan of the area, it was determined that the best course of treatment involved a sinus lift. The maxillary sinus is one of several spaces in our heads that warm and clean the air we breathe in. It is very important not to place implants in the sinus cavity to avoid infections. Under local anesthetic, we can predictably move the sinus by several millimeters to accommodate implant placement. After 3-4 months of healing, a ceramic crown was attached to the integrated implant.

Gerold had their lower molars replaced with titanium implants. The teeth were extracted, and implants were placed at the same visit. This can be done in some cases where there is sufficient bone to anchor the implants at the time of extraction. Bone grafting is then performed to fill any small spaces between the implant and the native bone. After a short healing period, ceramic crowns were delivered using custom abutments.
Richard had a fracture of a cantilevered crown from the neighboring central incisor. The smaller tooth next to the broken one also sustained damage, with a chip in the incisal edge. After taking a CT scan, an implant was planned to replace the missing tooth, and the chip in the neighboring tooth was repaired with a composite filling. A temporary was prepared for the interim, and after 2 months of healing, a ceramic crown was fabricated to match the other teeth and restore Richard’s bite and smile.

Tina had a badly infected tooth because of a vertical root fracture. The area was cleaned out and grafted after the broken tooth was removed. The soft tissue was shaped to natural contours using a custom-made temporary. Once a CT scan confirmed healing at the site, a titanium implant was placed and eventually restored with a screw-type ceramic crown.
Mariah had an accident when her cell phone was accidentally bumped, and she ended up breaking her front tooth.
A custom surgical guide was made, and her tooth was removed with a replacement tooth placed the same day. Her dentist placed crowns and veneers on the upper teeth to close spaces and replace defective old fillings.

Jordan broke his upper right back tooth and had a same-day implant placed. This treatment is highly predictable and can be completed in a single appointment.
Ofelya suffered from years of periodontal disease that resulted in bone loss, loose teeth, infections, and difficulty chewing. Surface and bone scans were used to make custom surgical guides that allowed for the placement of 6 implants in the upper jaw and 5 in the lower, with teeth being delivered on the same day of surgery.

Phymean had several implants placed in the lower arch and individual crowns attached to them. She then came in for treatment of the upper arch because all but one of her teeth suffered from advanced periodontal disease. The remaining teeth were removed, and her bite and smile were restored in one day with a procedure called Teeth Express.
Due to years of drug use, Michael ended up with severe root decay. Over the course of time, many of his teeth were extracted, and he became very self-conscious. Six implants were planned virtually using CAD/CAM software. Surgical guides were fabricated according to the plan, and his teeth and smile were restored in a single day.
